Description
A small metal silver rectangle, called a tama or an aphieroma, embossed with a facsimile of a full bodied boy or girl to be placed on the church altar or in front of the church icons. A tama combines a personal prayer and a vow to a saint while appealing for help or assistance. The petitioner vows to give or do something as he/she prays to a saint in times of need. (Pick between a boy or girl)
